Chapter 8 - Chapitre 8 - 第八章

Both boys are really glad to have had the opportunity to meet a young boy from another country and to get to know another culture better in those circumstances. Although, they notice that it is getting late, and that Charles should start to get back home. A-ming suggests that the safest way might be to retrace his steps, hoping he can go back the same way he came. The boys decide to exchange email addresses to keep in touch when both will be at home. They say goodbye to each other as Charles starts walking back.
Les deux garçons sont très contents d’avoir eu l’opportunité de rencontrer un jeune garçon d’un autre pays et d’avoir pu en apprendre plus sur une autre culture dans ces circonstances exceptionnelles. Par contre, ils remarquent qu’il commence à se faire tard, Charles devrait donc retourner à la maison. A-ming suggère que le moyen le plus sécuritaire serait probablement de rebrousser chemin et de retracer ses pas, en espérant qu’il puisse retourner par où il est venu tout à l’heure. Les garçons décident d’échanger leurs adresses de courrier électronique pour pouvoir garder contact lorsqu’ils seront chacun chez soi. Ils se disent au revoir pendant que Charles commence à marcher vers chez-lui.
他們很高興能有這個機會去遇見彼此並且認識另外一種文化。然而，他們發現時間已經晚了，查爾斯必須趕緊回家。阿明建議沿著他走來的小徑回去是最安全的方法，希望他可以就此安全到家。他們決定透過交換信箱的方式確保彼此回到家後還能保持聯絡。就在道別後，查爾斯踏上了歸途。
